halloween.

i always wanted to carve some unusual and creative pumpkin patterns for the halloween, so this year, i decided to try something different. this is what came out, though i had some troubles, especially with the alien head (there were supposed to be hands, too ... ), but the pupmkin skin was very thick so it was more difficult to cut nice shapes through - and the skin was constantly cracking. surprisingly, the howling wolf was the easiest, probably because the skin was the thinnest.

i have to say i enjoyed carving more than ever. i didn't even got mad when the alien partialy failed.

and i guess i'm the only one far around doing this - putting carved pumpkins with candles inside in front of the house, facing the road so everybody driving past could see them. although everybody probably thinks of it as an american silliness, it's still fun for me!

photoshop.

these photos are extremely old and are shot (by me) with a low quality camera and retouched in photoshop, not by me actually but a friend of mine. i am also in most of the photos (the first one and at the end, much younger of course).

myself.

in real life, those freckles on my cheeks aren't that noticeable.
and that's early in the morning.

bright mornings.

since i'm always at school when sun rises in the morning, this is a real divinity at weekends.
